Members are encouraged to bring a prospective member to this annual event where guests will have an opportunity to meet our members and learn about SOI, who we are and what we do.
For the buffet-style dinner, we will enjoy pasta with meatballs, panini with Italian-style salami and Mediterranean salad with feta and black olives. Dessert will be Italian pastries (Cannoli/Picolli) and coffee.
A glass of red or white wine is also included in the price. Everyone is encouraged to mingle and network but with a special focus on talking to the member prospects. This meeting will be light-business or no-business - the focus will be on the membership prospects. Win a prize for sponsoring a prospective member: You will get a ballot for each prospective member you bring to the meeting. A draw will be held at the end of the evening and a gift certificate for a dinner for two at Mona Lisa Ristorante will be given to the winner! A prospective member must be a male of Italian descent, or married to someone of Italian descent and has never been a member or has not been a member in the past two years.
