Christmas Eve Feast

On Tuesday, December 24th, 2019, Sons and Daughters of Italy held our 14th annual Christmas Eve Feast for approximately 300 people at Rossbrook House.

Working in conjunction with our major partners X-Cues Billiards and Café and Sorrento’s on Ellice, the Feast was a great success!  The dinner featured both traditional and Italian favorites with dancers, Santa, and even his elves! Nearly 300 people attended this dinner, with many people participating in the celebrations throughout the Christmas week.

We are truly grateful for being a part of this very special event that provides so much to so many. We were able to share the day with many newcomers experiencing their first Canadian Christmas, international students not able to go home for the holidays, and many individuals and children from our community. Together, we enjoyed a wonderful meal, festive atmosphere and warm welcoming company to share it with. Everyone left with a gift and a hamper and the children were thrilled to see Santa.

We are very grateful to Rossbrook House for opening their doors and with open arms allowing us to put on this Charity event for their community. The support of our sponsors, supporters and community members has been paramount to the success of this event. Bringing joy to others is part of what makes the holidays so special and we cannot imagine doing anything else on Christmas Eve.
