Italian culture is synonymous with passion. Passion for music, good food & wine, for love, sharing... and a passion for life! Join us for a night of Italian magic including iconic arias from Italian composers.
The evening will support education and outreach programing at Manitoba Opera and feature the stunning voices of soprano Jayne Hammond and tenor Justin Odwak, both accompanied by pianist Lisa Rumpel.
Tickets are only $40.41. We also hope you will add on the delivery of a fine Italian dinner by X-Cues Cafe and Events Center and a bottle of Cabernet Sanvignon by Frontera Wines with for an additional $78.52 to help complete your evening!

Praised for her “clear soprano voice,” (Winnipeg Free Press) Jayne Hammond is an active member of the performing arts community both on- and off- stage. Jayne has appeared as a soloist with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, Pacific Opera Victoria, the Victoria Symphony, Manitoba Underground Opera, the Gilbert & Sullivan Society of Winnipeg, and Living Room Live.
An in demand choral conductor, vocal instructor, and tenor, Justin has performed as soloist with local organizations such as the Winnipeg Singers, Canzona, Camerata Nova, the Winnipeg Philharmonic Choir, and Little Opera Company and has appeared as soloist with the University of Manitoba singers for Soundstreams at Toronto's Koerner Hall along with the Latvian Radio Choir.
Praised for her "fierce artistry” and “poetic” pianism, Winnipeg-based collaborative pianist and coach Lisa Rumpel is an active member of Manitoba’s artistic scene. Since completing her Master of Music (Collaborative Piano) at the University of Manitoba in 2015 under the tutelage of Dr. Laura Loewen and Dr. Judy Kehler-Siebert, Lisa has built her reputation as a coach and pianist for musicians of all experience levels.
